Hi Robert,
It is always a delight to look at your paintings. They are infinitely more thought provoking and stimulating than anything I saw in the Tate Modern, no doubt because the artist has more to say of life and thought than any of the artists displayed there. The only memorable piece in the Tate at the moment is Ai WeiWei's mound of carved sunflower seeds commemorating each of the political prisoners of the Chinese regime. Nothing else anywhere in the museum seemed connected to any kind of learned contemplation. One or two pieces were strange and visually striking enough to inspire my own thoughts but my interpretations did not match the uninformative blurb the artists had attached to their installations.
